Their Hexagonal Head allows for a great amount of torque to be applied to this screw making them ideal in heavy duty applications. Hexagon Bolts are partially threaded and have a section of plain unthreaded shaft below their head, whereas Hexagon Setscrews have a fully threaded shaft.
