The La Sportiva Jackal II GTX shoe is a version developed for very long off-road and mountain trails, long- and medium-distance training in winter.

The redesigned lacing system better adapts to the volume of the forefoot. This solution, combined with the ergonomic padded tongue, ensures not only stability but also safety during running. The upper is constructed of mesh reinforced on the sides with an anti-scratch coating to increase breathability, providing maximum ventilation and climate comfort.

This model uses a Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane, which is responsible for a very high level of waterproofness and breathability. Compared to the standard Gore-Tex membrane, this one is distinguished by a completely different construction, as it is directly laminated to the upper of the shoe. This results in lighter weight, greater comfort, greater convenience and faster evaporation of moisture.

The high degree of cushioning and flexibility is due to the midsole consisting of compression-moulded EVA with Infinitoo™ inserts and compressed 1.5 mm Eva Rock Guard dual-density foam. The exclusive Infinitoo ™ technology absorbs negative impact from the ground on the foot and guarantees the return of energy used during activity. At the same time, it maintains high flexibility and consistent characteristics regardless of the intensity of the training.

The La Sportiva Frixion Red® sole is the ideal combination of grip, long-lasting wear and cushioning, ideal for high-performance mountain and off-road running shoes with versatile dual-density soles. The sole also features the innovative Impact Brake System, which absorbs unpleasant impacts on the ground and improves grip, especially on downhill runs.

The soles used make the shoes highly versatile. They are ideal for running on any type of terrain, including stone, scree, grass, moss or mud and in wet or dry conditions.

The exclusive OrthoLite® Hybrid MR E insole, made from 20% recycled materials, is characterised by maximum wearing comfort thanks to ventilation and highly breathable PU foam cells. This ensures that the foot is always dry and kept at the ideal temperature. This high-performance type of insole is ideal for mountain running.
